A STUDY OF FE KA SPECTRAL LINES OF THE MAGNETIC CATACLYSMIC VARIABLES- V1223 SGR

ABSTRACT

We present the spectral analysis of a cataclysmic variable, V1223 Sgr, from Suzaku satellite archive. The Suzaku satellite observations of V1223 Sgr were made on 13-04-2007 for 42.2 kiloseconds.  We resolved the neutral or lown-ionized (6.41keV), He-like (6.70keV), and H-like (7.00keV) iron lines. A thermal Bremsstrahlung model with full and partial covering absorptions reveal the thermal origin of the hard X-rays observed from the boundary layer between the white dwarf and accretion disk. The light curve shows no intrinsic variations during the observation.
